This week, I am so happy to introduce Sheena from Shanelé! When I first came across her blog, I was instantly in love with her feminine and bold style. I admire her darings choices of statement pieces in every outfit whether it's a full tulle skirt, furry vest, or colorful items, she knows how to make it work!

When Sarah asked me to share a little bit about how I decide on an outfit, I had to think a bit because each day can be so different in a city like New York. One of my biggest style icons, however, is J. Crew Chief Creative Officer Jenna Lyons and her unparalleled 'hi-low' style. I strive to do just that like in the outfit photographed above. Whether it's a girly tulle skirt with a sweatshirt, sequins and chambray or a simple tee and a sparkly necklace, I love unexpected mixes of textures, patterns, materials and colors.
