Hello The Weekend Diary readers!!

I am Sandy of Sandy a la Mode!  I blog about fashion, recipes, crafts, photography, inspiration, my baby boy... and did I mention I host a lot of giveaways? I'm a true believer in giving back to my readers for all their support.

How do I decide on an outfit each day?  Well, before I get started on that process, let me first just let you know that I work an 8 to 5 job at a Healthcare IT firm where we can wear jeans casually to the office and business casual / professional when I travel to client sites.  But I'll stick with how I dress for the office. Each morning when I wake up, after I've done the general shower and brush teeth routine, I head into my closet.  I first start with what I'm going to wear on the bottom.  Will it be a colored jeans kind of day?  Or a skinny jeans kind of day?  Once that is chosen, I decide on what top to wear.  If it's a plain-ish bottom then you can bet I'm wearing lots of patterns on top.  Or if the pants speak for themselves (like camo pants), then it will be neutral up top.  Once that is all set, I head into the jewelry department (kidding, my house is not big enough for that).  But I do have piles and piles and racks and racks of jewelry that I can't go to work without accessorizing.  Then, finally as I kiss the little guy goodbye, I head for the garage where my shoes are stored neatly on shelves and racks (a lot of them).  If I am not wearing enough color or patterns, then this is wear those crazy funky colorful shoes come in.  Or if my outfit is speaking for itself, then a pair of nude flats will do.
